Peter Brock is the man behind the design of the Shelby Daytona Cobra coupe. Here he briefly explains the story behind the car. Brock also helped design the 1963 Corvette Sting Ray, he built championship hang gliders and was hired as the youngest designer for GM when he was 19 years old.
Japanese drift champion Masato Kawabata just set the record for the worlds fastest drift in his RWD 1,361bhp Nissan GT-R Nismo built by Nismo & GReddy Trust, with a 190mph, 30 degree slide at Fujairah International Airport on their 3km-long runway.
To adhere to the Guinness World Record rules, Kawabata only had three attempts to set the record.
A record formerly held by Jakub Przygoński who hails from Poland. Przygoński set the record at 135mph in 2013.

The Ferrari F40. Today these rear-wheel drive 470hp twin-turbocharged 2.9L V8 beasts sell upwards of $1 million. The F40 was built to commemorate the forty year anniversary of Ferrari and was the last car to roll out of Maranello under Enzo’s supervision before his passing. It is regarded as the first production car to hit 200+ mph.

And then to take it rallying up a mountain in snow while the tire chains are ripping into the carbon kevlar inner car wheel wells as you drift up and around corners, all for a small camping trip... you have to be mad! I guess that is what Takeshi Kimura is. A mad man! A mistake of only a couple millimeters on the gas pedal could send the car flying into the trees.
